Pharmakon Live At MOCAD January 18, 2015

The always-amazing Pharmakon live in Detroit, wailing on a huge piece of metal with contact mikes or pickups or whatever attached to it along with a bunch of keyboards, pedals, recording/looping devices and whatnot. In touch with other planes intersecting!!! This rules relentlessly. One of my favorite people making musicks these days! Here, as Bonus Content, is the short film Pharmakon made with Nina Hartmann to accompany the album Bestial Burden (2014), and filters personal organ trauma catharsis through Viennese Aktionist influence, fire and performance footage. For me, this is really emotionally affecting.
